Sebastien Paquet

Dr. Sébastien Paquet is Vice President and Social Alchemist of Sceneverse Inc. Sceneverse is a tech start-up focused on enabling cultural scenes to flourish through better on and off-line connection.  Paquet earned a Ph.D. from the University of Montreal and was a computer science professor at TELUQ - Université du Québec à Montréal. 

Prior to that, he worked at the National Research Council and tech start-up Social Text.  Paquet’s omnipresence on the Web began with a collaboration on social software with Clay Shirky and Danah Boyd.  He is sought out as an expert in group forming, knowledge transfer and Web-based collaboration.
